The compact, ultra-lightweight transmitter and receiver are powered by a single 9V battery and two AA size batteries respectively, all the batteries are included. The batteries can last for about 8 hours under normal conditions. The system's operating range is about 100 feet, though you may get transmissions of up to 300 feet under optimum conditions.
